Surgery went well :: going home today

My hernia repair surgery on Friday went well. I was surprised to be in the hospital until today (Monday), but apparently it's relatively common. I had a low-grade fever and needed to work with the doctors to control my pain, so I ended up staying an extra night just to be sure.

While I can't say that I've enjoyed this process (I miss my Sophia and Ethan!!!), I am sleeping more than I have since the babies were born which does feel good. I need to continue to rest during the next two weeks and should be healed enough to lift the babies by the end of that time period. In the meantime I can hold Sophia and Ethan as long as I don't lift them.

Thank goodness for my mom, my aunt, and Steve's mom! They are all a huge help and we feel so lucky to have them with us during this time!
