Sophia and Ethan this past week! It was so hot this past week that they're wearing SHORT SLEEVES for the first time! Yay!

Spring has sprung. There are now the beginnings of leaves and flowers on the trees outside our nursery window.

Our friend Helen Najarian helped to feed Ethan during our second time at church. Thanks, Helen!

While Ethan generally loves our walks, every so often he asks us to stop so that he can take a little break...

Sophia and Ethan looking very fashionable for our visit with Suzanne...

Our carseats seem to be getting smaller every day!

Ethan with Grandma Chrisanne. Grandma Chrisanne did eventually fold that entire mound of laundry in the background. Thanks Chris!

Ethan all partied out on his activity mat.
Playing with the babies...
Sophia, Ethan, and Steve all sang to me on my birthday. :)

Yay, Sophia!
Sophia loves to smile and often sticks out her tongue...
"Really Mom! I can put my tongue back in my mouth!"
Ethan keeps his mouth closed...

Sophia works on sitting in the Bumbo seat. Her head is so big in propotion to her body that sitting up can be something of a chore!

Our sweet Sophia...

Our sweet Sophia...And finally... solid food! Up until now we've been going through about 16 bottles a day. And all those finished bottles need to be taken apart and washed in the dishwasher. It's quite a task! We have a series of bins to sort it all out...
After they're cleaned up, the bottle parts get put in the "clean" bins where they wait to be made into new bottles.

Ethan anticipates his first rice cereal...

Ethan enjoys both eating and wearing his cereal...

"Are you really taking my picture with all this stuff on me?"

"Oh, I don't really care... this is so yummy!"

Sophia chews on her bib while waiting for her first rice cereal.

"What!? You mean you're going to give me more than this bib to eat?"
"Ooh! Rice cereal!"
Sophia wasn't so comfortable in her booster seat, so we moved her to a much more comfortable bouncy seat...
"Yum! More please!"
"That spoon thing is pretty useful..."
"Let me try that spoon thing..."
"Mmmm... More please!"

"I can feed myself!" - Sophia holds and licks her spoon clean...
Steve topped Sophia off with a good old-fashioned bottle...
