20 Months (July) :: Vacations:: Wellfleet, MA :)

Our July vacations continued with a trip to Wellfleet on Cape Cod. We rented a house with our good friends Wendy and Charles and their daughter Katie who is about the same age as Sophia and Ethan.

The house we rented had three little steps that led up to the living room from the kitchen. The kids loved playing on the stairs and spent quite a lot of time there... Ethan and Sophia...

There was a group of five cool grannies in kayaks who paddled into shore one day while we were at the Long Pond. Ethan was so excited about the kayaks, so the grannies let him and Sophia take rides in one of the kayaks. What fun!!! :) Sophia, Ethan, and one of the cool grannies...

We went out to dinner at Arnold's with a boomerang-throwing friend of Steve's and his family. At the restaurant one of the waiters was walking around with a 24-pound lobster. Hard to believe that the lobster weighs about the same amount as Ethan and Sophia!!!Sophia and Katie play the piano at the restaurant in P-Town...

My dear friend Hazelle and her family happened to be staying in Wellfleet at the same time we were there. We had a great time catching up with them. Hazelle and I also had a few wonderful long swims at Great Pond.Toby (Hazelle's son), Sophia, Ethan, and Kaili (Hazelle's daughter)... We didn't get any pics with Daniel (Hazelle's husband), but we enjoyed catching up with him too! :)

20 Months (July) :: Vacations :: 4th of July in VA and CT

Summer is finally here! After such a busy month in June, we kicked off a few weeks of vacationing in July. We started out by driving to Virginia to visit my sisters, Kate and Elaine (and their families). Then we drove back up to Connecticut to my mom's house to play on the beach.
