22 Months (September) :: Steph's new job and changes...

September brought a lot of changes... I received an offer for a new job with McGraw-Hill/CTB in NYC. It's a senior program manager position managing a large-scale contract with the New York City School District. The job opportunity was exciting, but the job itself was in NYC - which would mean moving from Boston to a town commuting distance from the city. After some debate, Steve and I decided that I (we?) would accept the position. The week after I accepted, I flew to Monterey for a series of yearly kick-off meetings with the team. Life has changed rapidly since then...

We put our condo on the market and moved in with Aunt Jo-Ann to keep the house neat while it's for sale. Steve quit his job to stay home with the kids. I officially started the job on September 15th and began commuting - to NYC 3 days a week and working from Boston 2 days a week.

Then, on a very sad note, we started saying goodbye to our friends...
